Attenborough Arboretum - Snowdrops
Snowdrops in bloom.

The welcoming sight of Snowdrops ( Galantus nivalis ) coming into bloom at the inner gate entrance reminds us that Spring is not too far away.

Heartening to see that the English Bluebells transplanted from the pond to beneath our London Plane are thriving

Counted 20 beautiful Mallard ducks at the pond this morning. Males and females.

We are giving away free compost again!

We have excess compost in compost bin number 2. Please help yourself if you want some. It's free, but do consider putting a small donation in the blue box by the notice board.

Normally, there is a spade and wheelbarrow at the bin to help you out!
